2009-10 Season
David Michael Wolff is enjoying a whirlwind 2009-10 season with around 80 performances worldwide, as conductor, pianist and composer/orchestrator. Check back for regular updates.
Maestro Wolff and the Carolina Philharmonic will present more than 50 concerts in the 2009/10 Season, including a full orchestral season and dozens of chamber music concerts throughout eastern Carolina. Nov. 2009 saw three diverse programs in six concerts in Fayetteville and Pinehurst.

2008-09 Season

Jan. 15 - Feb. 8: Wolff conducts Bernstein's West Side Story in over twenty near-capacity performances to rave reviews, with an Orchestra formed from members of the Fayetteville Symphony. Cape Fear Regional Theatre in Fayetteville, NC
Jan. 11-17, 2009: Wolff acts as Assistant Conductor for St. Barth's Festival Orchestra, formed from principal players from the leading orchestras of the world, including the MET Orchestra, NY Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, and LA Philharmonic, in a performance of Madama Butterfly. Saint Barth's Music Festival in the French West Indies
Feb. 10, 2009: Wolff performs a concert of solo piano (including Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Rachmaninoff's Second Sonata) and leads members of the West Side Chamber Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto
Feb. 12, 2009: Wolff performs with Soprano Angela M. Brown for President Clinton's Global Initiative. Little Rock, Arkansas
Feb. 28, 2009: West Side Chamber Orchestra, led by Maestro Wolff, makes its formal debut in Fayetteville, NC, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church @8pm. Repertoire includes Copland's Appalachian Spring Suite, Morricone's Gabriel's Oboe, a Verdi aria with Soprano Young Mee Jun, and Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto
March 1, 2009: West Side Chamber Orchestra debut's with previous evening's program in Southern Pines, NC, at Brownson Memorial Church @3pm
March 3, 2009, 7:30pm: Wolff performs with members of the West Side Chamber Orchestra in Greenville, NC at Jarvis Memorial Methodist Church
March 23, 2009, 8pm: Wolff performs with Soprano Angela M. Brown in Carnegie Hall, by invitation of Jessye Norman
April 4, 2009, 8:30pm: Maestro Wolff leads the West Side Chamber Orchestra and the Manhattan Chamber Philharmonic, as they make their joint debut at Carnegie Hall
May 29&31, 2009: Maestro Wolff leads the West Side Chamber Orchestra in performances in Fayetteville and Greenville, NC
